WE ARE “SURE WIN” WINNER!

Ever since Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) started, we are always attached to a group. Different groups have different business strategies. Some focus on roadshow, some focus on street prospecting and some focus more on tele-marketing and appointments. Every 6 months, we’ll be reshuffled to a new grouping.

So far we’ve seen countless groupings over these yrs. We’ve also tried out different types of business models. We like our current business model the most. This is also the most long lasting type of strategy - appointment and referral system. That is why we are in our current group.

Our current group is called “SURE WIN”!! Needless to say, we will surely win in anything we do. All members are winners! In this year’s goal setting, we emerge as the winner! We put in our hearts & souls & co-operate closely to achieve our goals! Our Winner managers are Chen Peng & Janin.

We choose to be in this group as the business model is focused on lifestyle management and appointment model. We like having the freedom to do our own sales and yet being managed at the minimum level. We still need to go back office for 弟子规 as every group is required to undergo some training. Whenever Peter Tan launched some incentives, we know that we belong to a group and when we win the incentive, we will celebrate as a team. It is great to celebrate our achievements with a bunch of fun-loving colleagues!

We won the top group in the month of March for our sales production. YEAH! We get to enjoy a fantastic meal at Peony Jade.

In April, Janin held an appreciation hi-tea for senior and above consultants. “Sure Win” always has the most number of consultants as “Sure Win” is made up of many successful senior consultants. We will not feel lonely whenever we are in functions as there will always be our group members around.

Even though our group comprises of many seniors & tend to work solo nowadays, we still see a need to be inside a group. In fact it is important to have a group.

First and most importantly, it’s an identity, a sense of belonging. When we are in a “Sure Win”, Chen peng will track our sales production. Whenever we have any questions, the first person that comes to our mind is our group members or group managers other than our own direct manager. Whenever we go for monthly meeting or goal setting, we’ll sit according to our groupings. Imagine how lonely and lost if someone do not have a group. Whenever we cheer, we know that we belong to “Sure Win” and managers will definitely look after us. What happen to people without a group? How will they feel? Will they feel abandon or Lonely?

Secondly, we can learn our group members’ skills. This is especially true when we do group sharing. Nobody is perfect in all aspects; hence, it is important that we meet regularly for sharing sessions. When one does not have a group, then he will not have the opportunity to learn other people’s skills & knowledge.

Thirdly, we’ll have more synergy working in group. It is observed that some people is a ‘group’ person. A ‘group’ person will stretch himself to do more in order to help the group to hit the target. A good example is Chris. On 1/5/09, when Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) launched the Great Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) sale, Chris stretched himself to go for many appointments and brought back 18 cases! He did it for “Sure Win”. In turn, he gets more sales too. This is the group synergy that individual will not have when running on his own.

Last but not the least, belonging to a group brings us closer to Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®). At least we will not drift apart from Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®). Over the years, it is observed that there are some good consultants. They find no meaning coming back to office. Everything they do becomes very individualistic. They are only concern about themselves, their own things, own sales, and hence do not see ‘friendship’ in Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) anymore. They are like lost sheep in a big loving family. They tend to leave the industry after some time. Isn’t this sad? That is why we must always belong to a group to strengthen each other. J Visit me @ petertan.com.sg
